Ninapharm Laboratory was founded in 1993 in Annecy, an alpine city surrounded by Evian spring water and Mont Blanc. Annecy is famous for having the most pure lake in Europe and for its high-tech industries.

From its start, the company focused on nanotechnology applications for health solutions, from which the name Nutraceutical Innovation Nano Actives.

The first application of the technology was applied on liver fibrosis by stabilizing the antioxidant Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD) enzymes in a nano matrix, originally discovered by Pr J. McCord and brought to light at the SOD 2000 Institute Pasteur conference by Dr. M. EDEAS where Ninapharm introduced its first generation SOD formula.

From 2001, Ninapharm focused on bringing advanced health formulas for alpinists living in the Alpes and became famous among the Swiss longevity clinics for its anti-aging nutraceuticals, constantly evolving while remaining true to its pioneering DNA. Guided by its motto “Formulated for alpinists, empowering pioneers,” we also began developing alpinist health supplements that support endurance, stress control, and recovery.

Born in extreme conditions of the Alps and collaborating with exigent mountaineers with zero error mindset, where energy and consistency determine the outcome is what forged the spirit of Ninapharm.
