The World’s First Alive Bionic Hexagon Building Enhancing Longevity: Kingdom of Overde and Sagrada Família Architect Jordi Coll i Grifoll Present the “House of Zeus”

Osaka, Japan — 2025/06/03 — Sagrada Família expert architect Jordi Coll i Grifoll, in collaboration with the Kingdom of Overde, present at Expo 2025 Osaka a new bionic architecture called the “House of Zeus”, using microbiome technology that connects humans with nature’s regenerative force.

After 26 years working on the Sagrada Família, architect Jordi Coll i Grifoll brings Gaudí’s spirit to the House of Zeus (Overde), a project “inspired by nature, wild, and above all alive.” Coll explains, “The hexagon represents natural intelligence, durability, and harmony, reflecting our goal to create a space that evolves sustainably, just like the Sagrada Família, which transcends generations while retaining its essence.”

Overde is a biophilic kingdom where the king is a 2,300-year-old Millenarian Tree, protected by native plant varieties like its ancient royal olives pollinated with indigenous black bees.

Designed for longevity technologies, Overde functions as a microbiome harvesting farm aimed at reconnecting humans with the invisible force of nature.

The extreme conditions of strong sunshine during 345 days a year, with no rain and proximity to the salty sea, make it a perfect space to evolve microbiomes that will serve precise fermentation.

By producing Overde’s landscapes using microbiome technologies and delivery systems that reach humans through architecture mimicking the richness of wild ecosystems, this new habitat enables us to breathe, touch, and live in direct contact with natural bioactives.

The Longevity project started in 2003 when Vicente Micol, the current dean at the University of Elche and Bejit Ideas, discovered the super microbiome in a wild olive tree grown beside the seashore of Alicante.

“This is beyond an architectural project, it’s an artistry blending the science of microbiome, a time machine to rediscover the secret energy that allowed the native Mediterraneans to become among those with the best longevity records in the world,” added Vicente Micol.

A building designed for eternity.

Advanced materials—such as olive wood to prevent eye sensitivity and volcanic rock sourced from the land—will be used to reflect the project’s long-lasting commitment to sustainability and human well-being. The House of Zeus integrates the Alpha Microbiota, bacteria strains discovered on ancient olive trees, which have protected and nourished the tree through thousands of years. These unique organisms form the biological soul of Overde’s architecture, enhancing resilience, immunity, and longevity.

Microbiome Project

About Overde Microbiome Project:
Overde Kingdom is the world’s first microbiome plantation. The plantation is a unique ecosystem exposed to a harsh microclimate, desertic condition, with low water and high exposure to UV, 360 days per year, coupled with volcanic soil and where 888 millenarian olive trees grow with a very unique microbiome. The plantation contained a bionic structure offering a bioprospection platform to harvest and harness this microbiome unique to these millenarian trees. This unique macrobiome allow to grow new trees that can bring health advantage and wellness in the human habitat in urban condition.
